The purpose of this document is to provide a brief list of features that are being added
and deleted from the Fortran 2003 standard and a set of often used constructs and
practices that should be avoided. Many result from the limitations of previous
versions of Fortran which are addressed in Fortran 95 and Fortran 2003 through
additional data and control structures. These are not presented in any particular
order, however, the more serious generally come earlier in the document.
